oh. my. i only just now got around to reading this, as i had it confused with a songfic with the same name/dashboard song i had read on ff.net that wasn't too terribly good. but, OH MY. i think this sums up exactly the dynamics of an adult-javid relationship. i love that while jack gets a little frazzled with with his promises to pick up groceries for david, he still turns around and gets them rather than put it off to the next day. theirloveisohsodevoted. and the massaging? *sigh* not to mention the ridiculously HOT sex scene. it's really amusing thinking of david as a "forceful" top, but you portrayed it incredibly well (and realistic.) okay, now i'll never want to read anything with a serious plot. :)
